While we wait why don't we celebrate another special day.....
Hannah's birthday! We're so glad this little gal is in our family. She is such a genuine person. She appreciates the small things in life and is always concerned about others. She sounds perfect, right? She is close but nobody's perfect.
She loves to sing and dance. She is constantly singing, whether it's a real song or not (to her brother's dismay). When asked to stop she'll say, "I can't! It's just in me!" Which is totally true. She moves at her own pace, which can be very maddening when you're trying to go somewhere, hmmmm like school everyday. She gets so distracted by all those little things that she's appreciating she will completely tune Mom out when she is asked to do something. Which makes it difficult for Mom to appreciate her. But we do love her!
Here's some snippets of her birthday which landed on a Sunday this year. It's also an odd year (7) so no friend party this year but we did have some neighbors over cake and ice cream.
She wanted a Strawberry Shortcake (as in the doll) cake but seeing as her birthday was 4 days after we got back from our trip I just didn't have it in me. She did like my lame attempt at a strawberry cake though.
And just so you get a feel for this little lady, I found this video on my phone of her singing. I didn't even know she had recorded it.

Oh my goodness. How funny and cute is that video?! What a sweetie pie. Happy 7th to Hannah! I forgot she's so close in age to Calvin - but you were pregnant a my shower, right?
Do you guys have a Canon camera? The software is SO easy. You upload the pictures, then you can instantly click on the ones you want to use and reduce their size and send them to a separate folder (which I named "Resized pictures"). I don't know if yours lets you do something similar - but that makes it so quick. That's why I blog so much. If I had to get past a hurdle to upload pictures, it would definitely hinder my blogging.
