While we wait why don't we celebrate another special day.....
Hannah's birthday! We're so glad this little gal is in our family. She is such a genuine person. She appreciates the small things in life and is always concerned about others. She sounds perfect, right? She is close but nobody's perfect.
She loves to sing and dance. She is constantly singing, whether it's a real song or not (to her brother's dismay). When asked to stop she'll say, "I can't! It's just in me!" Which is totally true. She moves at her own pace, which can be very maddening when you're trying to go somewhere, hmmmm like school everyday. She gets so distracted by all those little things that she's appreciating she will completely tune Mom out when she is asked to do something. Which makes it difficult for Mom to appreciate her. But we do love her!
Here's some snippets of her birthday which landed on a Sunday this year. It's also an odd year (7) so no friend party this year but we did have some neighbors over cake and ice cream.
She wanted a Strawberry Shortcake (as in the doll) cake but seeing as her birthday was 4 days after we got back from our trip I just didn't have it in me. She did like my lame attempt at a strawberry cake though.
And just so you get a feel for this little lady, I found this video on my phone of her singing. I didn't even know she had recorded it.
